CCF is organising Finnish AeroPress Championships 2026 in collaboration with Kahiwa Café & Bakery and Good Life Coffee Roastery. The competition will take place on Saturday August 8th.

The winner gets the ultimate prize: a trip to represent Finland and compete at the World AeroPress Championships in Mexico City, Mexico this December 6th. How cool is that?!? Before all the fun, read this email carefully and register to compete!

Location: Kahiwa Café & Bakery, Päijänteenkatu 9, 15140, Lahti
Time: 16:00 onwards

Competition entry fee: Members 30€, Affiliates 0€, Non-Members 35€

TICKET TYPES:

CCF PREMIUM MEMBER: You are a CCF Premium Annual Member, or employed at a CCF affiliate company. (30€)

CCF AFFILIATE MEMBER: Affiliate members have two free places* in CCF competitions during the event year. If an Affiliate member registers more than this number of entries during the year, the excess places will be charged at the member rate.

(If your company has already used two free places this year, register at the Premium member rate instead of the free place.) (0€)

CCF NON-MEMBER: All other competitors who are not yet members of Coffee Competitions Finland. COMING ON SALE 8.7. AT 10 AM. (35€)


*While our CCF members receive priority access to competition spots,
availability is still limited, and all spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
As a result, we cannot guarantee a spot for everyone interested. NOTE: The spots are
filled in speed order, after which the registered people are arranged in a waiting list queue.
Registration is binding. If you later withdraw from the competition, please
inform CCF immediately. The entry fee will not be refunded if cancellation
is made after the competition coffee has been sent.

Please note all ticket purchases will be verified.

How does registration for FAC work?

1. Register by purchasing the competition coffee (It’s also your ticket) from Good Life Coffee’s web-shop at the link above – remember, spots are limited!

2. Receive the competition coffee in the post, create your best recipe and train!

3. Come and show what you got on August 8th

THE SCHEDULE:

7.7. at 10:00 - CCF member and affiliate tickets will be released

8.7. at 10:00 - General ticket sales start

23.7. - Competition coffee sent

8.8. at 15:00 - Competition day, competitors' practice time

8.8. at 16:00 - Official competition starts

8.8. At 20:00 - Official competition over, relocate to Piano by Kahiwa for official afterparty

By purchasing this coffee, you are agreeing to compete in the Finnish AeroPress Championships. Additionally, should you win, you agree to represent Finland in Mexico on December 6th. Should you not be able to participate in the competition, money from ticket purchase will not be returned if coffee has already been sent out.

About the Finnish AeroPress Championships Grand Prize:

The World AeroPress Championships will take place in Mexico City, Mexico on December 6th 2026. The prize trip, which will be awarded to the first place winner, includes entry to the World AeroPress Championships, flights and accommodation at the destination for the duration of the championships for one person (the winner). You will be representing Finland. The prize will not be converted into cash if the winner is unable or chooses not to go. The prize trip is also not transferable to another person. CCF is not responsible for the winner's travel insurance or other travel documents and their validity during the period of travel.*

CCF's Brewers Championships 2026

CCF is organising Brewers Championship  2026 at Kaapelitehtaan Kahvibaari on

Thursday 24th September 2026!

The 1st place Prize is….
 

Flights, accommodation, and tickets to the Dublin Coffee Festival on 23.4.-25.4.2027*. In addition, we have great  prize packages for our top 3 from our sponsors and other collaborators!

Competition entry fee: Members 15 €**, Non-members 20 €
 

TICKET TYPES:

CCF PREMIUM MEMBER: You are a yearly Premium Member of Coffee Competitions Finland (15€)

CCF NON-MEMBER: Any other competitor that is not a part of Coffee Competitions Finland just yet (20€)

Key Rules:

  • Two rounds: Compulsory Service (all competitors brew the same mystery coffee provided by CCF) and Open Service (competitor’s own coffee, recipe, and presentation)

  • During each Service, competitors will prepare and serve one manually brewed coffee into 3 individual and separate cups, one for each sensory judge.

  • Total brew time: 7 minutes for Compulsory Service, 10 minutes for Open Service.

  • Open Service includes a spoken presentation describing coffee, recipe, and sensory expectations (make sure you describe each sensory expectation according to the evaluation scoresheet which you’ll find attached in the Rules & Regulations).

  • Compulsory Service is done without any presentation or demonstration.

  • Judges score both the quality of the beverage and the consistency of the presentation.

  • The only ingredients allowed are coffee and water. No additives.

  • Competitors must bring their own equipment and are responsible for setup and cleanup. For Compulsory Service, all competitors use the grinder and water provided by CCF.
